Jumprope: beat my personal best, 263 in 2 minutes, but no way I'm getting close to Mikhael's 328...
What were the rules about beans and tofu? Beans count as veggies, not protein, but should avoid them because...they are hard to digest? And tofu is bad right?
Re: Beans and tofu (which is just another way of eating beans)
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing wrong with beans, but they are hard to pin down as to what percent is carbs vs. protein, and the protein that comes from beans is not as conducive to muscle building as that from animal products. So we ask people to lay off the beans during the PCP. If you have to have them count them towards your carbs.
Keep your legs perfectly straight during the KFSits. Just fold at the waist and bring your feet all the way up to your hands, then back down. If that is easy 6 times in a row then you are well on your way to Peak Condition!
ReplyDeleteWhen I did them they weren't too bad but I couldn't help swinging a bit. So I decided to try to counteract the swing by starting the motion as I was swinging backward. I *really* don't recommend trying that.
ReplyDelete(actually, on second thought after reading the comments I probably wasn't keeping my legs perfectly straight. That should make it harder)
They work the same inner muscles as the bicycles, which are fine and dandy...until they fail, and then you REALLY can't move.
ReplyDeleteFailing on KFsits is FAILING, like "my legs are two dead logs" kinda failing.
Awesome, Ren got you into PCP?! I'm feeling the bandwagon calling me too...
